Change a Child’s Story

Are you wondering how you can become a CASA volunteer? Are you a current CASA volunteer looking for information to share with potential volunteers?

Powerful Voices Society

In addition to our CASA volunteers, monthly donations like yours give abused and neglected children in our community a voice. You may also make one-time donations.

Welcome!

We are so honored to be a part of the important work of Central Georgia CASA in providing volunteer advocates for abused and neglected children in our community and hope that you will join us!

Did you know that:

  • Over 70% of the prison population was once in foster care?
  • Only 50% of children who grow up in foster care graduate from high school?
  • Girls who grow up in foster care are 600 times more likely than their peers to be pregnant by age 21?
  • 60% of children who grow up in foster care and “age out” at 18 will be homeless, in jail, or dead within 1 year?

Our work will not be complete until every child in our community lives in a safe and permanent home with loving caregivers. You can be a part of accomplishing that goal by supporting Central Georgia CASA with your time and resources.

We hope that your heart will be stirred by the realities faced by these precious children. By standing in the gap with our community’s most vulnerable children, you will be filled with a deep and abiding joy, knowing that you have made a changed a child’s story.
